Everyday Thankfulness

It's that time a year again where we gather with friends and family and think of all the things we are thankful for. Looking back over the past year I am in awe of all that God has done, and the different thing He has brought us through. No matter where you are at in life, we all have things to be thankful for. 

Psalm 100

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!

Serve the Lord with gladness;

Come before His presence with singing.

Know that the Lord, He is God;

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, 

And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to His, and bless His name.

For the Lord is good; 

His mercy is everlasting,

And His truth endures to all generations.

  
In all the hustle and bustle of everything don't forgot to slow down and remember that we are His and not ourselves. All the blessings we have are from the Lord, spend time with Him and tell him all that you're thankful for. Over the next few days let this psalm be in your heart and mind. I encourage you to sit down and read it with your family, and then talk about all that you are thankful for. From relationships and stuff you have to what you are thankful for about each other. I pray it be an uplifting and eye opening time.
