Let me explain a little about myself so you can get to know me better and what my heart is for this blog.
I'm a wife to a children's pastor, but the children are more tweens (4th and 5th graders, which will soon be changing to 5th and 6th graders). Some day I will share how God called us in to full time ministry and the amazing story that is with all the twist and turns, which could only be a God story. My husband and I have been married 5 years, and he truly is my best friend! He makes my heart smile daily.
I'm also a mommy to our 10 month old son. What a blessing it has been to become a mother! It's really amazing how becoming a mother changes every aspect of your life. God is teaching me and showing me how great of dependance I have for Him each day to be a godly wife and mother. He is teaching me through His Word how to accomplish all that He desires for me to do, while still becoming more like Christ.
My heart for this blog is for it to be a place where I can share with you what God has done and is doing in my life. I pray that it be a place of encouragement, challenge, and where ultimately God is glorified. My desire is to share with you things that God is teaching me personally, spiritually and practically from the Word of God.
"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Hebrews 4:12
God's Word is so practical and personal to our lives. I love how we can read the same passage so many times and God can speak something so fresh and new to us. I love God's Word, and my desire is to hide it deep in my heart. But not to just let it sit there, but to let it go in and change my life and then come out and encourage others. Jesus paid much to high of price for me to not share of all that He has done for both you and I.
So let's follow Christ together as we prepare and invest into our eternal home in the heavens with Him.
